Candy AI's yearly plan is $3.99 a month, which looks like the cheapest deal around. It includes 100 tokens a month, and pictures, voice and video all cost tokens. I compared 7 alternatives from their official pricing and help pages on 2 October 2026.
What people don't like about Candy AI
The token limit is the big one. Premium chat is unlimited, but media runs on 100 tokens a month, and more tokens cost extra.
The free plan is tiny: 5 messages in total, 1 custom character, 1 picture. Refunds are narrow (24 hours, card only, 20 tokens used at most), and PissedConsumer has 17 reviews averaging 1.7 out of 5, mostly about billing.
Candy AI does have polished pictures, image-to-video and a big catalog of girls, guys and anime characters, and for chat only its yearly plan is the cheapest here.

Secrets AI has the most useful free plan I found: 20 messages a day and 200 Moments once, enough for a few pictures. PromptChan gives free Gems every day for pictures.
How do I cancel Candy AI?
Cancel the subscription first, then delete the account if you want to. Candy AI's own help center has an article titled "I've deleted my account. Why do you keep on charging me?", which tells you deleting alone may not stop the payments. More in my Candy AI review.
